SINGING THE BONES, is an independent film about 3 women whose lives are transformed by a mother's decision to take on a difficult and complex birth. Inspired by true stories, “Singing the Bones” enlivens the debate surrounding a woman's right to control her own destiny and see the birth of a child as a personal, rather than institutional, event. It has screened at 4 international film festivals to excellent reviews and screened in England, the United States, Canada and Australia since its creation in British Columbia.
